Several separate routines had to feel like one morning. The edit braids them by action rather than by person — a hand reaching, a door, a mirror — so the audience tracks the rhythm instead of counting characters. The split screen at the close is the structural payoff: it only reads as a gathering because the preceding cut kept them apart. Grade stays soft and high so the product sits inside the room rather than lit separately from it.
