MOF — National Day

A National Day film has to travel from craft and hospitality to industry and technology without the joins showing as a slideshow. Luminous graphic elements do that work here: they are designed to hand one subject to the next, which is a motion-graphics problem rather than an editorial one. The child facing the national tableau opens and closes the film, and framing it that way lets a long list of subjects resolve into a single point of view.
