An edit is a decision about what to leave out. Fifteen years of it, in Riyadh — national events, ministry films, brand campaigns and music videos — is fifteen years of watching an audience decide within eight seconds whether to keep watching.
Work arrives here as rushes and leaves as a film: assembly, structure, pace, sound, colour, the graphics that carry the message, and the seven versions the client needs for seven places it will play.

Do you take on projects outside Riyadh?
Yes. The work is post-production, so the footage travels rather than the crew — projects have come from across Saudi Arabia and from outside it. Riyadh is where the room is, and where anything needing a screening happens.
Can you work from footage somebody else shot?
That is most of it. A large part of this work is footage arriving from a production company, an in-house team or an event crew, and being turned into a film.
What do you need to start?
The rushes, whatever brief exists, the brand assets, and the list of places it has to play. The last one changes the edit more than people expect.
