Colour Grading
Grading — color grading, as most briefs spell it — is two jobs that get one name. The first is invisible: making forty shots from three cameras across two days look like one afternoon. The second is the look — and it only works once the first is done.
Everything here is graded as part of the same pipeline it was cut in, which is why a note in the grade can go back to the edit instead of being worked around.

Can you grade a film somebody else edited?
Yes. A locked cut and the original camera files are all a colorist needs, and it is a common way to work in Saudi Arabia where the shoot and the finish often sit in different companies.
Do you match to a reference or a brand look?
Both are normal. A brand with an existing film library usually needs the new piece to sit next to it, which is a matching job before it is a creative one.
What about broadcast delivery specs?
Masters are delivered legal for broadcast, and separately for cinema and online where those are different — they usually are.
