AlUla Conference — Opening Film

An opening film that runs on an effect, which means the effect has to survive close attention on a large screen. The light trails are built and tracked per shot so they read as belonging to the rock, the inscription or the street they cross, and the lanterns gathering in the sky is a composite assembled to resolve exactly on the conference identity. The edit gives the whole piece a single upward direction — every cut moves higher than the last.
